We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic **Customs Manager **who will lead customs team and will be responsible for operational excellence by organizing, planning, coordinating, and controlling operations related to customs business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversees employees to ensure all aspects of the daily operations from the actual clearance
- Prepare shipping documentation, and work closely with customs brokerage, warehouse and road transport departments
- Build and maintain excellent, direct working relationship with the client and carriers
- Assist our customers and drivers to clear the customs
- Conducts internal quality audits within the customs operation to ensure compliance is maintained at the highest standard
- Runs the team efficiently while helping in the training of staff to maintain industry standards
- Participate fully with other team members in the day-to-day operations of the team, including setting priorities, organizing and scheduling work, coordinating with others, problem solving and decision-making, participating in meetings and handling special projects
- Perform other related duties. Adhere to established policies and procedures
- Hire, train, coach and set objectives, monitor performance of customs team to ensure that assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Customs clearance, Transportation, Logistics fields
- Strong familiarity with ACE/ACI/PAPS/PARS and other current initiatives
- Professional, courteous, polite, with excellent telephone manners
- Excellent verbal and written customer service and communication skills required, including proactive attitude in following up issues with customers and drivers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and customs compliance requirements
- Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
