Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking front desk staff to support us in daily operations at the hotel. The staff member is responsible for helping things running smoothly and efficiently in all departments such as housekeeping, booking, guest services and the front office.
**General Responsibilities**
- Day-to-day operation of the front desk, housekeeping, booking, checkins and maintenance to maximize guest.
- Address questions and problems relating to guest room accommodations, rates, and experience
- Acquire excellent knowledge of the hotel, in-house operations, and local information to respond to guest inquiries
- Maintains a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance
- Perform other duties as required.
**Employee Benefits**
- Eligible for $500 signing bonus upon completion of probationary period.

**Qualifications**
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Good knowledge of revenue development and room inventory management
- Very strong written and verbal skills preferred
- Extremely people-focused
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work various shifts and hours including, afternoon, weekends, and overnight coverage as needed.
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
