Position Overview

We’re seeking experienced educators to provide individualized 1:1 tutoring in reading, writing, and math for students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. This role is ideal for those who have worked with children in any setting and want to bring their skills to a supportive, child-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalized, 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on grades 5-12 math
- Conduct initial, midterm, and end-of-term assessments (provided) to measure and celebrate student progress
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet each learner’s unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with the team to refine instructional approaches and share insights
- Contribute ideas and energy to The Learning Hive’s continued growth and innovation

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (in school, childcare, homeschool, or alternate settings)
- Strong mathematics knowledge
- Experience supporting diverse learners, including those with unique learning needs (preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort with educational technology or openness to learning new tools
- Flexibility to work in-person and online settings

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:
