We are looking for people ready to share, build, and grow with our company.- The position is site based and will be on 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation.Main Accountabilities:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Create, maintain and distribute reports, statistics, and bulletins
- Maintain and update Human Resources/Labour Relations records
- Assist HR Advisors with processing payroll, managing employee inquiries relating to pay discrepancies, LOA forms and SAP updates
- Follow payroll cut offs and communicate changes, and information in line with required timelines
- Supports and assist operational departments on the appropriate usage of leave entitlements, benefits administration and recruitment as needed
- Provide assistance and guidance to employees in completing HR and Benefits forms.
- Assisting HR/LR Management in preparing for the timely processing of employee grievances.
- Act as first point of contact for employees on HR/LR related queries.
- Help develop and implement HR/LR projects including employee engagement, coaching, leadership development, etc.
- Openly listen and respond to employee and manager questions, issues or concerns and assist HR/LR Advisors in recommend appropriate actions to address them.
- Assist with preparation of weekly/monthly reports, agendas, minute taking and action items for grievances, labour management, committee and disability management meetings.
- Distribute HR/LR policies, procedures and memorandums to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization.
- Maintaining statistical materials such as staff counts and performing general office duties, including but not limited to, filing, photocopying; greeting and directing visitors and responding to enquiries from employees.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activity of the department
- Provide administrative support to other appropriate departments when required
- Assist with documentation management and filing on a weekly basis.
- Preparing requisitions for various internal services.
- Perform a variety of reconciliations
- Set up and maintain well-organized filing system
- Completing Expense Reports

Main Qualifications:

- Business administration or Human Resources degree or diploma, relative experience will also be considered
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a human resources/labour relations or payroll capacity
- Solid understanding of applicable employment and benefit laws and legislation
- Strong digital literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office Suite®
- SAP and ADP experience
- Must be a multi-tasker, self-starter, strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Required to have a strong sense of urgency and effectively work within tight time constraints
- Must have a strong sense of ownership and has a proven track record for developing solid working relationships with diverse group of internal clients and team members
- Possess impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Prior document management experience
- Proficient with MS Office and advanced-level Excel skills
- Data entry and analysis experience
- Mining experience an asset
- Ability to work in the remote high Arctic in a Fly in/Fly out role
