**Overview**:

**Objectives**:

- Perform in process and final QC activities for Distribution / Production / Machine Shop, including electrical tests and mechanical aspects of the assembly
- Perform accurate and timely incoming shipment Quality Control (once product is unpacked)
- Perform QC on production component materials picked for jobs as necessary
- Perform full QC check on RMA’s and complete paperwork as required
- Plan QC activities with Quality team
- Investigate Customer Complaints, and assist with resolving issues and Complaints related to quality
- Handle digital photo images and file in appropriate location
- As applicable, test harnesses using the Horizon Electrical Test equipment
- Document QC results
- Troubleshoot quality issues when required
- Assist with the Review, approve/reject document first article products for all business segments (outsource, molds, internal machine shop, distribution and production)
- Ensure nonconforming product is controlled as per documented procedure
- Complete the backup of test results from Horizon electrical test equipment as required
- File completed job paperwork and QC reports
- Issue, track & control serial numbers for internal and outsourced production
- Complete job receipt as required
- Provide recommendations for the development of documented QC instructions and Assembly instructions as required
- Responsible for confirming test equipment/tools are appropriate for QC activities
- Assist with Cycle Counts, discrepancy resolution and inactive inventory movements
- Support the calibration and maintenance program
- Acquire product knowledge of all parts (including production products new products) to ensure product requirements are met.
- Other duties as required, examples include stamping, assembly, packaging
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

**Relationships and Roles**
- Works in conjunction with Procurement, Production, and any other department that has an effect on the quality of the organization’s products
- Sets example for production employees in areas of personal character, attitude, commitment, organizational and work habits
- Alerts Quality team of concerns regarding all quality issues
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees

**Qualifications - Education**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

**Qualifications - Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing field
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in quality control

**Qualifications - Knowledge / Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Able to use measuring tools effectively
- Able to multitask
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Able to lift 30 lbs
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Proactive towards learning and change
- Able to work with a team and independently
- Detail oriented
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Exceptional organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
