Field Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to join our Events Team as a Field Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for attending small events to promote our products/services, engage with potential customers, and generate leads. The typical coverage schedule would be Thursday-Sunday. If you enjoy meeting new people, have a sales-oriented mindset, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Represent our company at small events in different locations within Central Ontario.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with attendees and speak confidently about our products and services.
- Generate leads by capturing contact information and qualifying prospects.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to generate leads and close sales
- Conduct on site sales transactions and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory of promotional materials and event supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative event ideas.
- Provide post-event report and analysis to evaluate event success and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales, and customer interactions.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
- Self Motivated and target driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Willingness to travel to various locations for events
- Adaptability to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
- Proficiency in using technology, such as tablets or mobile devices to manage leads and sales
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Note: This is a contract position with a duration of 3 months with the potential to continue. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on performance and sales outcomes.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
