The electric bike and LEV market is exploding From commuting to work or trail riding or just getting more exercise, eBikes are fast becoming a convenient way to travel in a changing climate. The eBike Centre offers leading brands of electric bikes and scooters such as IGO, Daymak, Emmo, and ELBY eta. We are seeking **full time or part-time** electrical and or mechanical skilled professionals. Eager to embrace electric bicycles and the LEV (Light Electric Vehicle) and become a Service Sales Technician in our growing service department. The future of this new industry is unlimited. It's never a boring day at our shop. What we are looking for is mechanically skilled people that are willing to embrace new with old technology.

**Location**: Dartmouth, NS

Be part of a growing team in the LEV department. Assembly and PDI on new bikes, scooters and future LEV products. Electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and perform service repairs. Assist in sales to assemble the right product for our customers.

**Specific responsibilities & duties**
- Install and adjust all makes of shifters and derailleurs
- Install and adjust all makes of brake type
- Install chains, cassettes, freewheels, cranks and bottom brackets
- Install locks, fenders, racks, tire, tubes, baskets, lights and other accessories
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems
- Assist with shipping and receiving
- Communicate effectively with other employees & customers
- Share product knowledge and enthusiasm to eBike / LEV customers
- Build bikes and LEV from box to customer-ready product
- Assist with customer sales
- Clearly, document test results and work performed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Continually upgrade, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical skills
- Complete online training courses to upgrade product knowledge
- Ability to drive a forklift an asset

**Requirements**:

- must be a Canadian resident or hold a current Canadian work visa
- valid drivers license G
- customer relations experience
- Mechanical experience
- LEV Certified (or willingness to pass the LEV Training program)
- One-day internship to demonstrate mechanical abilities
- 2 years mechanical or electrical experience an asset
- Enthusiasm for outdoor activities is an asset

**Compensation & Hours**:

- salary commensurate with experience
- Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm; flexible hours in winter months
- Some weekends and Trade Shows

Full-time hours: 40 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
