**We are currently looking for an **AP Vendor Master Specialist (NSC, ADMT & CARIAD)** at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON**

The VGCA Accounting Shared Services Centre provides essential back office accounting functions for multiple VW Group Companies including Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, ADMT, CARIAD, Factory Production, and Electric Vehicle Infrastructure. The AP Vendor Master Specialist ensures accurate creation, maintenance, and overall integrity of the vendor master files, in accordance with corporate procedures and policies for Volkswagen Group Canada, Audi Canada, Volkswagen Group of America, Audi of America, Bentley Motors Inc., Automobili Lamborghini, ADMT and CARIAD.

In addition, the AP Vendor Master Specialist is responsible for fraud prevention by ensuring all documentation is valid and complete, and does not have any risks associated with the vendor records or bank accounts for payment.

***This position is fully on-site in our Ajax office**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Audit of supplier Information paperwork, creation and maintenance of purchase order vendors in the Central Supply Management system as well as in SAP (FICO, S4Hana & ET2000) in accordance with internal controls and tax requirements.
- Audit of paperwork, Creation and maintenance of direct vendors in SAP (non-purchasing vendors, dealer vendor accounts, employee vendor accounts)
- Complete sanctioned screening checks for all new vendor profiles through a Software tool prior to creating in SAP
- Complete banking verifications through a secure tool or verbally through a trusted contact.
- Complete vendor analysis form for all checks for fraud and completeness and package of all documentation for secondary review by AP Vendor Fraud Prevention Specialist.
- Support cross training and rotation of bank changes monthly
- Facilitate IRS garnishment requirements by blocking vendors and facilitating payments to the IRS.
- Follow up with vendors for failed payments and/or bank changes to complete required paperwork to update bank accounts.
- Investigate, analyze, problem solve and reply to all vendor maintenance related inquiries in a professional & timely manner
- Attend and represent any vendor master related topics in meetings and discussions with Business, Purchasing and Vendors.
- Ensure that all related process and desk procedure documentation are prepared, tested and maintained.
- Provide audit samples, present process for any walkthroughs with internal or external audit, and support with action items where required related to vendor master topics.
- Other related duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma - Business/ Accounting
- 3+ years of administrative experience in professional office environment
- High volume invoice processing
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, with a minimum intermediate Microsoft Excel and advanced Microsoft Outlook skill set
- Excellent attention to detail - ability to identify any red flags in documentation and communications.
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Positive attitude and able to work effectively within team environment
- Focus on process optimization and improvement
- Knowledge of SAP AP Module
