**Position Summary**

We are seeking a passionate and personable Sales Associate to join our Woodshop Retail team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment, believes in second chances, and is excited to promote handcrafted furniture with a powerful story behind it.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sales & Customer Engagement**:

- Greet and assist customers in the retail space, providing product information and sharing the story behind each piece.
- Drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

**Administrative Support**
- Assist with inventory tracking and reporting.
- Help coordinate custom orders and communicate with the woodshop team.
- Support marketing efforts, including social media updates and promotional events.
- Maintain customer records and follow up on inquiries or special orders

**Team Collaboration**
- Work closely with the woodshop team to understand product offerings and timelines.
- Provide feedback from customers to help improve products and services.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture.

**Qualifications**
- Passion for social justice and supporting individuals impacted by incarceration.
- Alignment with M2W2’s Christian values and mission.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, including Saturday
