Retail Sales Associate

Other skills required are

Customer Interaction and Knowledge - our sales associates MUST have the people skills, listening skills, and conversation skills required to get to know, and form relationships with our customers. You must be a conversation starter, genuinely ENJOY talking to and getting to know people, as well as being a good listener. You must be able to HEAR what our customers are saying, and then use that information to understand their needs and wants, and find it for them

Self motivation - you will be expected to take care of all day to day operations of the store with mínimal supervision. Always putting the customer and their needs first, while keeping yourself busy during the off peak with other tasks that are delegated to you, or you recognize needing to get done yourself. This includes cleaning, stocking, unpacking clothes, steaming clothes, and merchandising the store in a way that is appealing. There is always work to be done, and we expect our employees to work hard all throughout their shift.

Customer Service
- We believe in going above and beyond for every single customer. No sale or shoppers needs are ever too small Or too big. You will be expected to be attentive to all of our customer needs and be able to find them something that fits exactly with what they came in looking for, and/or make suggestions of other pieces that would work as good or better than what they imagined. You must be confident enough, and able to, fill a change room with pieces that would look perfect on each individual customer.

Sales: you must be able to meet and/or exceed your sales targets. Simply showing up and completing a ”to-do” checklist won’t be enough for this position. You must be able to exceed our customers expectations and help them find clothes they love, and then close the sale. Our customers deserve the best and that includes having sales associates that can make suggestions, and assist them, and make sure they are seeing and trying on clothes that will make them look and feel their best

Moderate computer skills - you will be expected to navigate our online order system (packing orders and then printing shipping labels or sending pick up notifications) and also work our POS system (shopify) You will also be trained on basic programming and inputting product into the system, and printing bar codes for new items arriving in store. You will be trained on the basic functions to do this, and as long as you have worked a computer before, and consider yourself someone with organizational skills, you will be able to learn how to do this quickly and easily.

Other things to note

*MUST be willing to work up to 4 full shifts each week by March without restricting available, while understanding that certain times of year, hours could be slightly reduced. We are a “pay for performance” business and employees with the best performance get priority for hours

*Must be comfortable being on social media and being a part of our photoshoots for our website

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
