North Vancouver, Canada CARTER GM NORTHSHORE Full time

Carter Gm North Shore has an immediate opening for a full time Automotive Service Advisor / Consultant or full time Junior Service advisor (If no previous experience)

Your role will include:

- Promptly greeting customers as they enter
- Perform a thorough walk around on customers vehicle while taking notes
- Listen to customers concerns getting as much relevant info as possible, checking for recalls and selling maintenance when appropriate
- Write clear, detailed repair orders, monitoring them constantly throughout the day
- Updating customers on status of their vehicle and providing repair estimates
- Checking rental vehicles in and out
- Working closely with a team of three other advisors, shop foreman, technicians, appointment coordinator and parts department
- Maintaining a high customer satisfaction rating (CSI)

Hours: 8 am to 5 pm to start. This may change in the future to include a 9 am to 6 pm shift or a Tuesday to Saturday shift.

Position requirements:

- Have a valid BC Drivers license/abstract
- Basic vehicle mechanical/parts knowledge
- Be reliable, show up on time for every shift
- Basic math (for accurate estimates)
- Ability to manage customer expectations while providing a high level of service
- Have a positive and ambitious attitude
- Ability to stay organized even when busy
- Comfortable using a computer and learning new software
- Experience with PBS or Reynolds software a bonus but not required

**Salary**: $38,290.30-$80,000.00 per year
