**Overnight Expedite**, a division of **O.N.E. Transport Group**, has openings for drivers to perform deliveries in Red Deer and surrounding areas. Previous courier/delivery experience is an asset but we will consider training an otherwise suitable employee.

**Summary**

As a Courier Driver with a Class 5 License, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. Your core skills in communication and heavy lifting will be essential as you navigate various routes and interact with clients. With relevant experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations, you will contribute to the smooth logistics of our organization, ensuring timely and safe deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will:

- Have a class 5 license
- Be able to successfully deliver/pick up 80+ stops per day
- Have a previous customer service background and a desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Comfortable navigating rural areas and driving on gravel roads.
- Be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 75 LBS without assistance and 150 LBS with assistance.
- Possess or be willing to obtain CSA approved safety footwear.
- Ability to provide a 3 year drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerit points.
- Be punctual and consistently able to be at work on time, with references to confirm reliability.
- Be an experienced and proficient driver able to safely operate delivery vehicles from transit vans to 16' cube trucks.

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a vehicle with a Class 5 License to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction during deliveries.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, manager and clients to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

This position is a Monday thru Friday position and generally 45 to 50 hours per week.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
