**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in the maintenance of the vehicle, including basic automotive repairs as needed.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type being operated.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus, enabling quick fixes on the road when necessary.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, particularly in loading and unloading freight efficiently.
- Experience operating forklifts safely and effectively is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
