**Service Advisor Responsibilities**:

- Represent the business with a professional and positive communication style
- Provide an optimal customer experience for service appointments, updates, and follow up
- Follow processes carefully and consistently
- Able to use varying software in a fast paced environment to ensure an efficient work flow
- Work effectively as a team to coordinate both Service and Sales requests

**Service Advisor Tasks**:
**_Service_**
- Taking incoming phone calls and booking service appointments
- Preparing daily shop schedule for technicians
- Effectively managing work schedule when booking service appointments
- Creating well written and detailed work orders
- Unit check-ins - advisors are responsible to follow unit check-in procedures
- Following processes consistently to ensure maximum customer satisfaction

**_Parts_**
- Ordering and managing parts for customer pay work
- Order parts needed for stock
- Utilizing effective inventory control processes

**_Warranty_**
- Administer retail manufacturer and extended warranty claims
- Administer internal warranty claims

The **Service Advisor** is responsible for coordinating service appointments and the workflow through the Service Department. This will involve both customer pay, internal, and warranty work. The **Service Advisor** should follow processes carefully and with consistency to ensure the work is effectively organized. As a front facing employee, strong customer service skills are critical. RV experience is definitely an asset but not required and training and resources are provided. Ultimately we are looking for a strong administrator with good people skills who is interested in exploring a career in the RV industry.
