**ABOUT THE JOB**
We are currently looking for Camp Inclusion and Activity Leaders for our various school aged camps between **June 30- August 29, 2025.**The hours of work will vary according to location placement the location you are placed and camp registration numbers.

**ABOUT YOU**
You are a team player committed to community. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people. You must be able to prepare and lead a wide variety of programs and activities including sports, arts and crafts, games, and neighborhood walks. You are highly enthusiastic and capable of motivating and encouraging others. You should have a demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement and be able to display leadership skills. You will be responsible for creating detailed lesson plans and camp itineraries, working within a camp budget and making program bookings. This position will have a strong focus on access and inclusion working with children, families and camp leaders to provide services in a safe and supportive way for those participants who required additional behavioural supports. You may help develop inclusion support training for camp leaders, plan organization wide events and activities for multiple camps to attend, and assist in creating support resources for newcomer families. In addition, you must be able to work effectively with children, and closely and cooperatively with parents and facility staff, while creating a healthy and safe environment for the campers.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and provide leadership for children and youth activities
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor other camp leaders and volunteers
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- High Five
- Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification (available online through BCRPA)
- Previous volunteer experience working with children/youth considered an asset

**HOURS OF WORK**:35 hours per week

**HOURLY RATE**:The pay for this unionized position is $26.62 per hour (2024 rates), plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
