**Sales Associate**

**Summary**

Sales Associates are responsible for creating memorable retail experiences for guests after their ride. With a friendly, confident, and knowledgeable approach, they showcase guests’ photos and videos, answer questions, and recommend merchandise or services to enhance their visit. By consistently exceeding expectations, Sales Associates ensure every guest feels valued and appreciated. They assist with decision-making, facilitate seamless front-desk transactions, and guide guests smoothly through their departure. Their dedication to delivering professional, welcoming, and exceptional service helps make every WildPlay Park visit unique.

To succeed as a Sales Associate you bring an outgoing, positive, and energetic attitude to every interaction. You excel at making people feel welcome and use assertive communication skills to meet each guest’s needs. You’re proactive, taking the initiative to complete tasks during quieter times, and a team player who collaborates with others during busier times to enhance the overall guest experience.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

The Sales Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Consistently providing personal service that exceeds a guest’s expectations, both on the phone and face-to-face
- Giving correct information regarding all photo/video options and packages
- Having the ability to monitor and reach sales goals and targets
- Addressing and welcoming all guests that are not already being helped in a friendly and attentive way
- Assisting guests in merchandise purchases, tracking inventory, and ensuring the clean and attractive appearance of the retail area
- Ensuring that guests follow safety protocols (i.e minors wearing pinnies etc.) in a friendly and polite manner
- Inspecting, maintaining, and storing video equipment in a proper manner
- Maintaining general upkeep of park grounds and merchandise building
- Participating in the activities of the park pride in a respectful and proactive manner

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to consistently achieve high standards of work in all aspects of the role
- Unfailing attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet sales goals with the team and individually
- Ability to work well on high throughput days in a repetitive sales area
- Good judgment and strong decision-making skills
- Ability to act independently and as a team player
- Initiative and a proactive approach to general duties that improve the guest experience
- Openness to feedback and a positive attitude
- Physical demands include standing, sitting and occasional bending/twisting/ kneeling
- Note:_ On-the-job training will be provided upon employment._

**Work Relationships**

Sales Associates fall under the Guest Service Department. They report to the Retail and Photo/Video Supervisor, the Retail and Photo/Video Coordinators, and the Leadership Team.

**Work Schedule**

This is classified as a seasonal position. Our peak season typically runs from April to October, depending on the weather and the needs of the business. Specific employee contracts are flexible and adaptable to individual availability.

During the season, Sales Associates work a flexible schedule of full-time and part-time employment. This includes working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

At times, there may be requirements to work at multiple WildPlay Element Parks locations within the Guest Service Department.
