Wesgroup Summer Internship Program

Wesgroup Properties started as a family business in British Columbia more than 60 years ago and today is one of Western Canada’s largest private real estate companies with a diversified portfolio spanning across residential and commercial real estate. We own and manage over 4 million square feet of commercial and multi-family real estate and have built thousands of homes in dozens of communities. With the active projects in our development pipeline, the asset portfolio will grow to over 5 million square feet during the next five years.

We are excited to continue our paid Summer Internship Program this year across several departments within our organization. Our goal is to build our future talent pipeline by investing in career-oriented students who are curious about working in the real estate and development industry. **Intern Position Overview**:

- You will gain entry-level professional experience under the supervision of talented members of the Wesgroup Leadership Team.
- Program runs from May 12 to August 29, 2025
- Through participation in projects and programs, you will develop professional skills and expertise inline with Wesgroup’s and industry goals.
- Participants will gain planning and implementation skills that will assist in the successful outcome of Wesgroup’s projects and initiatives.
- Interns will work closely with colleagues, clients, and/or other internal or external personnel in the Commercial/Residential Real Estate Market broadening your network, knowledge, and communication skills.
- You will receive guidance, training, and mentoring from local individuals who excel in their field.
- You will conduct original research and prepare reports based on findings to include recommendations or alternative proposals.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

**What you bring to Wesgroup**:

- High school degree or equivalent; must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program.
- Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Expected Compensation
- Students can expect to earn $21-24/hr on a full time, 40-hour week schedule. Wages will be dependent on department and year of completion.
