Alberta Blue Cross® is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our go to market strategies that drive growth, enhance customer engagement, and elevate our brand in the Small and Medium Business segment.

**OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to our Director, Small and Medium Group Sales, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a comprehensive go to market strategy to accelerate growth across the Small and Medium Business segment while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As the Manager, Group Sales Corporate South, your mandate is clear - you are highly motivated, people focused and result-driven. You are a cause for growth through cultivating meaningful people-first customer engagements and champion the strategic growth of Alberta Blue Cross® as the Trusted Partner here to support businesses Small Medium Businesses in Alberta. Your leadership will span the spectrum, from developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, fostering strong partnerships, and driving revenue growth through acquisition, upsell, cross-sell, and retention.

This involves leading a team of high performance sales and client sales support professionals, orchestrating multiple external and internal relationships while cultivating an inspiring and engaging Trusted Partner organization. As Manager, Group Sales Corporate South, you will play a crucial role in ensure our teams are supported and achieving our businesses objectives.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
**Develop and Execute Sales Strategies**:

- Identify, create, and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business acquisition, retain business and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth through emerging technologies, keeping Alberta Blue Cross® at the forefront of innovation.

**Leadership and Team Management**:

- Lead, motivate, inspire, coach and mentor a high performing sales team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results. This includes clear coaching, support, and direction, fostering strong alignment with other departments for a holistic go to market approach.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to ensure the team's success.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture achieving individual and team targets.
- Continuously provide feedback and coaching, enhancing the sales teams’ skills, and capabilities through training, workshops, and mentoring.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through effective networking and relationship-building.

**Sales Forecasting and Reporting**:

- Track, and manage key performance indicators, sales forecasts, pipeline status, activity management, budgets, and reports against targets.
- Provide regular updates to the senior management team on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.

**Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams**:

- Coordinate cross-functional planning with Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer experiences.

**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:

- 5+ years of progressive and proven B2B sales leadership experience with focus on sales coaching and enablement.
- 5+ years of industry experience with a deep understanding of service offering, dynamics, trends, and challenges.
- Strong track record of driving results and curating experiences for B2B diverse customer segments with focus on opportunity planning, account planning, funnel management, and sales forecasting.
- Self-motivated, results oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of industry, trends, offering and market.
- Proven success in leading and developing high performance sales teams.
