**JOB RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Will perform repetitive operational or final bench inspection and tests on a variety of parts and products.
- Must follow standardized methods using direct reading and adjustable gauges, test sets, checking fixtures, and precision measuring instruments, surface table.
- Will perform diversified first piece sampling final bench or floor inspection of parts and processes on moderately complex equipment, assemblies and products for conformance to drawings, specifications or other inspection data.
- Prepare necessary documents for IATF 16949.
- Deals with quality issues regarding incoming supplier parts.
- Supervises return of parts rejected by suppliers(s).
- Participate in supplier PPAP’s (production parts approval process).
- Provides ongoing instruction to production personnel on gauging and inspection procedures.
- Will be responsible for informing Supervisors of defects.
- A self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to deal with quality procedures.

**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality is required, or 1 year experience plus working towards completion Quality Assurance Advanced Management Certificate
- Experience and/or working knowledge of IATF16949
- Ability to understand and interpret simple drawing prints such as process inspection instruction check sheets.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to work with management, peers, and plant Associates.
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PPTX skills required
