Cloverdale Paint is seeking an ambitious individual for a **full-time **Quality Control Technician position in our London facility.

Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Test and make corrective recommendations for all Liquid Batches.
- Spray coating samples for color, gloss measurements and display panels.
- Weigh tints for color correction for Liquid Batches.
- Compile data on batch corrections.
- Make recommendations to R & D Coatings lab regarding required formulation changes
- To communicate daily with the coating manufacturing staff and the R & D staff on batch problems and possible detection of causes/trends as they occur
- Operate computerized color system. (Input color standards, batch history and color matching)
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow all Safety and Work standard operating procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of High School Diploma
- Strong communication skills and be competent in math and numeric comprehension
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Team player - dependable and responsible
- Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude
- Conduct Quality Control Tests as detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual
- At least 1-year of Retail Sales and/or Paint Industry experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
