Reporting to the Director of Finance you will lead the day-to-day accounting functions for all companies within the ProSlide Group. You will manage, motivate and foster growth for an incredible team of accounting staff.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Corporate Accounting and Treasury for the ProSlide Group of companies.
- Directing and coordinating the preparation of the annual budget process while supporting the executive annual operating plan and budget targets.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial information for all entities within the ProSlide Group.
- Establish and ensure timely reporting deadlines are met for all monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting requirements.
- Manage all external reporting relationships including audit, intercompany, and banking.
- Support the executive leadership team and CFO in ad hoc reporting and financial reporting to support effective business decision making.
- Manage the finance treasury function including, day-to-day banking, cash management, cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange hedging.
- Lead the risk mitigation of ProSlide’s cash and A/R process by establishing effective contract payment terms with the Sales and Contracts team’s and leading the management of trade finance documents such as letters of credit, bonds and guarantees.
- Own the GL chart of accounts.
- Support manufacturing operations team in building and managing positive vendor relationships.
- Evaluate, monitor and continuously improve internal control systems to ensure an effective and robust control framework.
- Lead the finance teams’ internal relationships with internal stakeholder groups to ensure collaboration, support, education, and successful flow of information.
- Ensuring the proper professional development and growth of finance team members
- Drive project reporting on variances and provide a variety of financial analytics and metrics to department heads, project managers and other stakeholders, to perform root cause analysis, identify trends, to improve financial behaviours across the business.
- Own the internal approval matrix and signing authority levels for requisitions, PO’s, invoices and banking payments.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- Professionally Designated Accountant (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
- University Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience and 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/similar role
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and reporting in different functional currencies is considered an asset
- Previous project accounting and construction experience are considered an asset.
- Experience with SAGE 300 software is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
