Host/hostess

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as well as basic food service knowledge.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
