Located in the Edmonton area, the Sales Estimator will plays a vital role in driving sales growth by accurately estimating project costs and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of the steel and construction industry, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Estimate Project Costs**: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for steel joists and deck products based on customer specifications, drawings, and other relevant information. Ensure that all estimates are competitive and align with company pricing strategies.
**Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their requirements. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
**Proposal Development**: Create professional and persuasive proposals that clearly outline the scope of work, pricing, and delivery timelines. Ensure all proposals are accurate, well-organized, and aligned with customer expectations.
**Technical Support**: Support customers, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the sales process. Answer inquiries, provide product information, and offer guidance on the best solutions for their projects.
**Market Analysis**: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors. Analyze market data and customer feedback to make informed recommendations for product improvements and business development.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Civil or Architectural Engineering Technology Diploma, or equivalent is preferred
- Strong commitment to Safety in every aspect
- Ability to effectively contribute in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software.
