**AtkinsRéalis** is truly a global leader in its field and has been chosen to design and build some of the most prestigious projects in the world.** **We are hiring a **Cost Controller **to join our team in **Vancouver** or **Burnaby, British Columbia**

**Your role within the team**:

- Manage the complete project control cycle throughout the execution of projects including Setting up projects /mandates updating, monitoring, controlling and reporting. Setting up and maintaining the project coding structures including WBS, CBS, EWP, CWP, etc.
- Maintain and monitor project budgets, potential changes, Change Orders, commitments, accruals, progress, and forecasts. Coordinate with all project stakeholders including planning and scheduling teams for all Project Controls data reconciliation and integrated project reporting efforts.
- Participating in regular meetings with project teams, Finance and other stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure the progress of the project and the achievement of project objectives and results.
- Follow-up with project teams on regular project forecast updates including periodic assistance in estimating the remaining project costs (ETC), as well as any necessary provisions and risks (analyze WIP, EV, AR, EAC, BAC, etc.).
- Prepare and transmit to management reports on project performance (monthly, quarterly, and annual), as well as other documents related to project portfolios. Manage/validate cost allocations related to the purchase of goods and services through the procurement process.
- Ensure and manage the follow-up of the project progress with discipline managers, including cost and schedule controls. Communicate and interact closely with project managers and other stakeholders regarding all phases of project execution.
- Document problems related to project budgets and schedules, as well as their resolution. Provide finance team with current reporting period project updates as required.

**What will you contribute?**
- University degree or College diploma in Engineering or Accounting or Business Administration
- 5 years or more previous experience in a related role within an engineering or construction environment
- Proven ability to understand, complex/multi-discipline levels of project planning, scope, schedule, work breakdown structures, and cost breakdown structures
- Understand revenue, cost and profit analysis including budget variance reporting including knowledge of project control systems (cost and schedule budget setup)
- Highly proficient in Excel with the ability to multi-task and work unsupervised or as part of a team, along with strong logical and problem-solving skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers._
