**Job Summary**:
As a Boutique Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the right products to meet their needs and personal style. You will also be responsible for maintaining the store's visual appeal and contributing to its overall success.

As a Tanning Bed Operator you are responsible for ensuring the proper operation of tanning beds and providing guidance to clients on safe and effective tanning practices. This role also involves maintaining a clean and organized tanning area.

Because you will be executing these roles interchangeably throughout the day, you will need to be an effective multi-tasker.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Customer Service:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Listen to customers' needs and preferences and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Answer questions about product features, pricing, and availability.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

Product Knowledge:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and product offerings.
- Familiarize yourself with the store's inventory and be able to provide detailed product information.

Merchandising:

- Ensure that the store is visually appealing by arranging merchandise and maintaining an organized and tidy appearance.
- Assist in creating eye-catching displays to highlight featured products.

Inventory Management:

- Receiving product, tagging, and inspecting products upon arrival for quality control.

Tanning Bed Operation:

- Operate tanning beds and equipment according to established safety guidelines.
- Assist clients in selecting the appropriate tanning session and explaining the process.
- Monitor and adjust tanning bed settings as needed.

Client Education:

- Educate clients on safe tanning practices, including the use of protective eyewear and recommended session duration.
- Answer client questions regarding tanning products and skin care.

Sanitization and Maintenance:

- Ensure tanning beds and surrounding areas are clean and sanitized after each use.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on tanning beds and report any malfunctions to the Salon Manager.

Compliance:

- Adhere to all regulations related to tanning salon operations.
- Maintain client records and consent forms as required.

Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns.
- Promote tanning products and packages to increase sales.

Store Operations:

- Assist in opening and closing procedures.
- Participate in periodic staff meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

**Availability**:

- Must be available for work Saturdays
- Shifts primarily scheduled Wednesday through Saturday

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
