RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Developing materials and conducting sessions for driver orientation, as well as, training for existing drivers
- Collaborating with recruiting department during the hiring and selection process to ensure quality of drivers being brought on aligns with hiring criteria.
- Create, Maintain and monitor safety files and other related records including but not limited to, Driver Qualification Files, Truck Maintenance Files
- Assist with post accident review and prepares reports identifying possible accident causes and hazards for use by company personnel and senior management.
- Act as a liaison with drivers and vendors such as mechanics.
- Report and schedule follow-up with drivers on any violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims and other incidents.
- Assist in renewal of permits and licenses, such as IFTA, US HUT Permits etc.
- Data entry and maintenance of Fleet maintenance, Accident, Tickets, HRD spreadsheets
- Responsible for managing CVOR Events and Compliance Monitoring, including driver Hours of Service (HOS) from ELD
- Support other departments to improve driver retention and address driver issues and complaints
- Assist with other Safety and Compliance functions as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years transportation and/ or safety experience is preferrred
- Knowledge of Hours or Service and MTO and DOT regulations
- Keen attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule
- Any Board certification as a Safety Professional is an asset
- Experience with TMS and ISAAC ELD is preferred
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize work to meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
