**About the Job**

As the People and Culture Business Partner, you will be immersed in the business strategy and objectives of your client groups. You will have intimate knowledge of the client's business challenges and you will make recommendations from the people's perspective. You will tailor people programs and initiatives to suit the unique needs of your client groups. You will be a trusted advisor, helping your clients manage the day-to-day. You will work alongside our management team to coach and develop current and future leaders. You’ll also act as an employee champion and change agent, working to proactively communicate employee needs and develop applicable solutions.

You’ll own the development and implementation of various people projects and programs, including aspects of our internal leadership development program and employee engagement initiatives. You’ll enjoy a broad and diverse scope of responsibilities as you work with a small but dedicated People Team to build an amazing experience for current and future Clearpathians.

No two days will ever be the same Your core responsibilities will include:

- Deeply understanding the business of your client groups and recommending and implementing People strategies that support the business strategy
- Acting as a trusted advisor to various levels of management, coaching and supporting them through people-related challenges, and helping to develop inspiring leaders
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Supports recruitment and set up of international employees and related HR matters.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Listening to problems and ideas and clearly articulating solutions
- Collaborating with HR Operations, Talent, and the rest of the People Team to share information, and develop action plans for core people programming such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, retention, talent attraction, and onboarding strategies
- Collecting employee feedback and determining follow up actions from engagement surveys, exit interviews, and other feedback forums
- Owning leadership development initiatives including creating toolkits and developing and delivering leadership training
- Building and facilitating meaningful programs for the organization
- Supporting the People team on various other initiatives as required

**Required Experience/Skills**:

- CHRP or CHRL designation
- 7+ years experience in the people function, at least 2-5 years working in a Business Partner Capacity
- Proven experience coaching and consulting with managers at all levels of the organization to align people strategies with business priorities
