**Structural EIT**

**(Engineer-in-Training)**

**As our Structural EIT, you will provide support to senior engineers in the analysis and design of various structures and buildings.**

**Position Overview**:

- **Assist in the creation of drawings, reviews, calculations, specifications, and other engineering documentation** for compliance with client requirements under the direction of a supervising P.Eng.
- **Participate in proposals in providing design concepts and layouts as well as equipment sizing**. May interact directly with the client or the client’s representative.
- Work collaboratively with Project Management team, senior engineers and other members of the Engineering and Design team to prepare detailed design drawings and reports to meet the client’s requirements.
- Visit worksites as needed in providing assistance to field staff and installation crews regarding the designs.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be registered as an EIT.
- Design experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant design codes related to concrete and steel structural design in Canada.
- Experience working in a deadline driven and competing priority environment.
