Jr. Art Director

**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a **Jr. Art Director** with a refined eye for aesthetics, strong styling instincts, and a passion for storytelling through visuals. This role is ideal for someone with an artistic background who can bring creative concepts to life through compelling campaigns, photoshoots, and branding initiatives.

You’ll collaborate closely with our graphic designer, marketing director, photographers and external partners to craft a cohesive and inspiring visual narrative for our brand. While overall creative strategy is guided by the Marketing Director, you will take the lead on visual execution across all marketing channels; providing art direction, maintaining brand consistency, and pushing creative boundaries.

**Bonus points** if you have additional skills in writing, photography, or videography.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Campaign Development (40%)**:

- Research and create visual inspiration/mood boards for campaigns, including ads, awareness efforts, prints and mailouts.

**Brand & Marketing Strategy (25%)**
- Contribute to the evolution of the brand by continuously reviewing and improving visual identity and storytelling.
- Monitor industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
- Support the development of marketing strategies by identifying relevant themes and topics aligned with our target audience.

**Shoot Coordination (20%)**:

- Research and select locations for photoshoots/videoshoots.
- Develop detailed shot lists and manage staging, props, and styling.
- Coordinate on-site logistics to ensure seamless execution.

**Social Media Content Curation (15%)**:

- Develop and contribute to a social media content calendar that aligns with the company’s brand vision and business objectives.
- Plan and curate visuals for social media platforms, maintaining a cohesive and on-brand aesthetic.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in creative marketing, styling, or a related role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and campaign execution.
- Proficiency in creating mood boards and managing brand visuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A strong attention to detail and developed aesthetic sense.
- Verbally proficient in English and French (priority in English).
- Great English writing skills.
- A sense of autonomy; you’re not scared to take initiative.
- Keen to work as part of a small, growing team and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
