We are currently seeking a **motivated, customer-service oriented and OFA2-certified** individual to join our team working Rogers Arena as a base OFA2 guard. You will be in the heart of activities for NHL games and world renown artists in concerts.

ROTATIONS: MOndays to Fridays, 0700 to 1500 hours

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitor First Aid calls and assess treatment as required
- Maintain First Aid supplies including emergency kits, oxygen tanks, and wheelchairs
- Monitor relevant paperwork as required
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the Facility is secure
- Identify and report any unusual activity or persons
- Identify and report Facility damage
- Provide access and escort for Clients, Official and Unofficial Suppliers, and Contractors through Facility spaces as required
- Provide crowd control during facility related protests / events as required
- Act as floor warden during emergency situations

COMPETENCIES:

- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions and provide clear directions
- Proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and to work effectively in a team environment
- Able to walk for long periods of time
- Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain a friendly, professional and courteous demeanor

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- OFA2: 1 year (required)
- security guard: 1 year (required)

- OFA2 certification (required)
