The Schizophrenia Division at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada’s largest academic health sciences centre dedicated to mental health and addiction, is focused on advancing care and outcomes for individuals experiencing schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders through a combination of excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. Research in the Schizophrenia Division is focused on diverse interests, including clinical and functional outcomes, treatment trials, brain imaging, genetics, physical health, digital technologies, and health services research. The Schizophrenia Division is seeking one part-time, contract (12 months) Psychometrist to support a multisite, randomized controlled trial evaluating the efficacy of combined Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for psychosis (CBTp) and Cognitive Remediation (CR) for schizophrenia spectrum disorders and related sub-studies. The Psychometrist will assist the team on delivering manualized therapy interventions, including both group and individual CBTp and/or CR sessions. The project will also include a number of clinical and research related duties including: participating in monthly community of practice meetings; maintaining participant records and study documentation; performing data entry and database management; conducting literature reviews; analyzing research data for knowledge translation (including presentations and publications); and coordinating with collaborating sites (University of British Columbia, Queen’s University, and University of Toronto Scarborough).
