**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist her with daily living skills and personal care
- Use alternative communication methods (if needed gestures, visuals, etc.)
- Engage in structured activities that promote learning and social interaction
- Provide emotional and loving support, and encourage positive behaviour
- Accompany her on community outings and recreational activities
- Foster independence in a nurturing and patient manner
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (preferred)
- Familiarity with alternative communication methods or willingness to learn
- Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong observation skills to understand her needs and responses
- Reliable, responsible, and proactive
- Loving personality
- Require Vulnerability Check
- Class 5 drivers license and access to a vehicle (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
