**Site Description**:
The Green Organic Dutchman has more than 10 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare expertise. The Green Organic Dutchman is a licensed and regulated producer of medical cannabis.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training
- Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
- Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures
- Plans and implements shift work schedules
- Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training
- Motivates staff and issues commendations
- Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office
- Attendance Management
- Performs security audits in accordance with established procedures
- Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
- Respond immediately to any emergency and co-ordinate response accordingly based off established procedures.
- Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager
- Being alert and observant while being outside, standing or walking for an extended period in all weather conditions (Rain, Snow, Excessive Heat & Cold etc.)
- Be observant and record all discrepancies, deficiencies and safety hazards/ concerns noted during patrols and take corrective action either informing the applicable department or handling it personally, whenever possible.

**Requirements**:

- Previous security experience is required
- Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Section 494 of the Criminal Code
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
- All successful applicants must undergo a vulnerable sector check

**At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites**:

- COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- First Aid & CPR - Level C
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)

**Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement**:

- Management of Aggressive Behavior
- Use of Force
- Report Writing
- Additional courses as assigned

Upon hire successful applicants will be required to complete the following Paladin online courses:

- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Customer Service
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Patrol Procedures
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Diversity Awareness
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Finding The OHS Manual
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Paladin OHS Orientation
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Dealing with People with Mental Illness
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Workplace Respect
- Successful completion of Paladin’s online Slips, Trips and Falls
- Additional courses as assigned

**Pay Rate**:$21.50/hr.
