**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
- Operate the POS system effectively, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication regarding food orders.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by checking identification for age verification when necessary.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations, drink preparation, and customer service techniques.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with knowledge of the food industry being advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
