General Labourer

**_ Due to an increase in production we are currently hiring for all areas of the production process: Rebar Fabricator, Hollowcore Producers, Dyrcast & Precast Element Fabricators and Concrete Finishers._**

**_ We are looking for straight day or straight night shift. Our night shift also comes with a $3.50/hr premium_**

**What you do**:

- Work in an organized and safe manner according to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and company policies
- Work according to Stubbe’s quality control standards
- Operate specialized concrete fabrication equipment including, overhead crane, forklift/pay loader, and other various (power) tools
- Assemble hardware according to procedures and drawing specifications
- Load precast concrete components using proper stacking methods
- Install cages and pull strand before tensioning
- Place, vibrate, and finish concrete

**What you need**:

- Fast paced, physically demanding work environment - similar to a construction site but indoors
- Repetitive work with some heavy lifting - ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80lbs
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination
- Operate equipment to move product
- Set up, adjust and operate single function machines to mix, drill, grind and cut concrete to specifications
- Position reinforcing rods or wire mesh in molds and fill molds with concrete from suspended pouring buckets
- Remove casting from mold, and finish surfaces of castings using screened or trowel
- Other duties as required
