Stubbe’s is known for its forward-thinking solutions, quality and customer service and offers significant experience and expertise in providing optimal solutions for commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural structures. Reporting to the plant manager and working with a team to perform tasks involved in fabrication of Hollowcore.Positions available in Centralia, OntYour Day to Day: Set up, adjust and operate single function machines to mix, drill, grind and cut concrete to specificationsPosition reinforcing rods or wire mesh in molds and fill molds with concrete from suspended pouring bucketsRemove casting from mold with crane or forklift, and finish surfaces of castings using screened or trowelCheck product length, width and notch locationsClean & oil bedsLayout bedsOrganize toolsLoad hollow core using proper stacking methodsPlace, vibrate, and finish concrete Understand basics of quality controlClean work space on a regular basisOther duties as requested by managementWhat we are looking for: An effective Labourer should possess the following:Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitudeMinimum 1 year of experience in construction or production (preferred)Ability to read blueprints (an asset)Proficient with hand toolsExperience working with concrete (an asset)Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationCarpentry or woodworking experience (an asset)Ability to read both metric and imperial tape measures, as well as technical drawings (an asset)Strong organizational skillsWhat We Offer: Competitive starting ratePaid overtime Consistent, predictable shiftsSteady work year-round Benefits planMatching program for Group RRSPWork boot allowance Clothing allowance Internal career advancement opportunities through succession planningStubbe's is committed to providing accommodations to those individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
