**Part-time Caretaker I - Springbank Middle School**

RVS is situated on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta including the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Pikuni), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney), and the Rocky View Métis District.

**The Opportunity**

Springbank Middle School, located in Springbank, serves English and French Immersion students from grades 5-8. Information regarding this school may be found at.

**Responsibilities Include**

Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment
- Demonstrated pride in workmanship
- Keeps assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
- Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation
- **Education/Experience**
- Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset
- Certifications from cleaning organization is considered an asset
- Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset
- An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered

**Knowledge/Skills**
- Basic knowledge of proper cleaning procedures
- Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with mínimal

supervision
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
