**Responsibilities**:

- Assist carpenters with various tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
- Assist with fence and deck construction and concrete forming and pouring
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Lead a team of construction workers, providing guidance, instruction, and support throughout the project.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and works efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to identify any defects or deficiencies and address them promptly.
- Implement best practices for construction techniques, material usage, and safety protocols to achieve optimal results

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in fence and deck construction, with experience in a leadership role.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and techniques is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools used in fence and deck installation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Construction: 2 years (required)
