**Booking Lead**

The Booking Lead is responsible for all aspects of FIT sector and OTA management as well as developing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue for the lodge. They will work closely with the Lodge Manager in areas of promotion, business planning and reservation costs as well as conduct analysis of prices offered by competitor properties to develop competitive prices and discounts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess and suggest room rates and other pricing in order to keep hotels competitive and earn revenue.
- Complete annual rate loading for all active rate codes.
- Assist in creating and distributing promotional campaigns in order to generate business.
- Work with the Rooms Division Manager to track customer trends, reservations & sales incentives.
- Evaluate and report on trends in the economy and hospitality industry to forecast pricing and revenue.
- Generate weekly, monthly and annual revenue and forecasting reports and make suggestions for increasing revenue and generating business.
- Manage all aspects of Foreign Independent Travel (FIT) sector. This includes annual contracting, responding to and inputting all reservation inquiries, assisting with guest conflicts and invoicing.
- Complete monthly reconciliations for OTA sites.
- Complete regular reservation audits to ensure standards are being met and consistency across the front desk team’s reservations. As well as to ensure accuracy of dates, room types, rate codes and rates for all FIT and OTA bookings.
- Attend weekly revenue meetings with the General Manager, Front Desk Manager. Record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes.

**Required Experience**:

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn in-house software programs.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize (planning and organization).
- Proactive approach and able to anticipate client needs
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Compensation**:
Starting wage of $18.00 per hour
