**Job Purpose**:
As a Gas Bar Supervisor with the Tofino Co-op, you will support the Manager with the day
- to-day operations of the Gas Bar in providing quality service. The Supervisor is responsible for coaching, training and leading team members while making safety a top priority in carrying out daily job duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist to organize, direct and co-ordinate the activities and operations of the department
- Assist in managing department inventory and staff scheduling
- Ensure completion of daily orders as needed and directed
- Supervise, train, resolve conflicts and coach Gas Bar team members
- Ensure that coffee/supplies and snacks are well stocked, and the area is kept clean
- Ensure PPE’s are available and being worn and that safe petroleum & propane handling and safety guidelines are properly implemented and followed
- Process invoices and ensure receiving book is kept up to date
- Provide excellent customer service and customer service resolution to guests in a courteous, efficient manner and within approved programs, policies and procedures
- Contribute to leading and inspiring the team to excellence
- Deliver brand promise and guest services, ensuring the feel of “You’re at home here”
- Work closely with Management and other support team members to successfully execute programs

**Qualifications**:

- A secondary school diploma is preferred
- Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred
- Gas Bar work experience required
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to meet multiple demands, work under pressure and meet deadlines

**Working conditions**:
Flexible, must be willing to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings as well as weekends and holidays based on the business needs

**Physical requirements**
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift for up to 8 hours
- Physically demanding; frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending stairs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

**Salary**: $15.65-$26.09 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
