**Position Summary**:
We are currently seeking **temporary Event Security Guards** to join our team for multiple upcoming public events in **August 2025**. This is a critical front-line role in maintaining the safety, order, and experience of guests at public and private events. This role requires proactive observation, strong communication skills, and a customer service-oriented approach to safety enforcement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor crowd activity and identify risks such as intoxication, aggression, or unsafe behavior.
- Conduct access control duties, including checking tickets, credentials, and bags.
- Respond to calls for assistance and support emergency response protocols.
- Deliver professional and courteous service to all patrons.
- Complete incident documentation and provide verbal and written reports to supervisory staff.
- Work with event partners to ensure event is smooth and safe for all.

**We are looking to hire**:

- 10 guards available for **out-of-town**travel (3-day events)
- 5-10 local event guards
- All selected applicants must complete an **8-hour event training day**prior to deployment

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Smart Serve Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and situational awareness
- Willingness to travel for multi-day events is an asset
- MUST be available for the entire month of August 2025 for events
- Successful completion of the mandatory pre-deployment training program

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
