**Position Summary**:
The Event Security Guard plays a critical front-line role in maintaining the safety, order, and experience of guests at public and private events. This role requires proactive observation, strong communication skills, and a customer service-oriented approach to safety enforcement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor crowd activity and identify risks such as intoxication, aggression, or unsafe behavior.
- Conduct access control duties, including checking tickets, credentials, and bags.
- Respond to calls for assistance and support emergency response protocols.
- Deliver professional and courteous service to all patrons.
- Complete incident documentation and provide verbal and written reports to supervisory staff.
- Work with event partners to ensure event is smooth and safe for all.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Smart Serve Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and situational awareness
- Successful completion of the mandatory pre-deployment training program

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Event/Bar security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Security Guard License (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
