Basketball Coach

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
- Educate players on the rules of basketball, techniques, and strategies to enhance their performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions and drills to improve player skills in shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense.
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their individual goals.
- Organize and lead team meetings to discuss game strategies, player roles, and team dynamics.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and hard work.
- Coordinate with parents and guardians regarding player development and team activities.
- Ensure the safety of all players during practices and games by adhering to safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in coaching basketball or playing at a competitive level is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate players effectively.
- Knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all players.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
