We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Access Control and Intercom Technician to join our growing team.

**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Installation**: Install, configure, and wire all components of access control and intercom systems, including controllers, readers, electronic locks, keypads, and networking equipment.
- **System Specialization**: Expertly install and program **CDVI Access Control Systems** (such as ATRIUM and Centaur software) and **Mircom TX3 Series Intercoms** (including telephone entry and voice entry panels).
- **Troubleshooting & Repair**: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues related to access control and intercom failures.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and upgrades on existing systems.
- **Customer Service**: Train end-users on system operation and provide professional, clear communication with clients and team members.
- **Documentation**: Complete accurate paperwork, service reports, and system documentation.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all work is performed to company standards and complies with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Essential**: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the installation and servicing of electronic access control and intercom systems.
- **Specialized Experience (Highly Desirable)**:Direct, hands-on experience with CDVI Access Control systems and Mircom TX3 Series Intercoms is a significant asset.**:

- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of electronic security systems, including electric strikes, magnetic locks, card readers, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP).
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing system faults.
- **Customer Focus**: Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
- **General Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Relevant industry certification (e.g., electrical license, security system vendor certifications) is a plus.
