Sheraton Ottawa Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Night Auditor/Guest Services Supervisor This position is an overnight position.
**Must be available to work overnights including weekends & holidays**
This job is for YOU, if you have the ability to:
- Create genuine connections with our guests, making customer service a priority and their hotel experience memorable.
- Learn about our Hotel and our Loyalty programs.
- Ensure the current day’s revenue balances are reconciled, the payments to the guest ledger are processed, and the accounts receivables are balanced
- Prepare daily management reports as required
- Complete the update process on the front office system per established system guidelines
- Complete system back-ups as required
- Balance and verify the summary of daily transactions in the hotel and ensure that the hotel’s computer systems are readied for the next day’s business
- Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements
- Verify that all departments have posted all their revenues
- Handle all other duties as assigned
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Stand for extended periods of time, ability to lift and push heavy objects.
Other Key Skills:
- Above average knowledge of Excel, an affinity for numbers, attention to detail.
- Passionate about customer care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team player.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
Qualifications:
- Previous Night Auditor experience in a hotel.
- Bilingualism
- Hospitality/Tourism/Business degree would be considered an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
