We believe in the craftsmanship that results in lasting value and satisfaction for our clients and we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive **Site Supervisor/ Lead Carpenter** to join our team

**Some of the Awesome things you will do in this position**:

- Coordinates, supervises the daily site activities of carpenters and sub-trades to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to the specified scope of work. Carpentry duties required to aid in the construction process.
- Be integral part of a team to construct large custom high-performance homes and large scale structural and deep-energy retrofit renovations.
- Produce high quality, efficient work according to the planned scope, provide direction to labourers and junior carpenters, assist in the coordination of daily activities
- Assist project managers in estimating, creating schedules, ordering materials, and preparing multiple sites for start of construction.
- Helps to review scope, input on budget and schedule. Resolve design challenges, change requests, equipment, or material problems.
- Advises the Project Management of the need for any work to be completed outside of the contract - potential change orders.
- Monitors the schedule in coordination with Project Management and provides daily reporting.
- Works in conjunction with the Project Management for the purchasing of required unique materials.
- Ensures quality for the client by providing the highest quality workmanship.
- Direct communication with clients, architects, designers and trades
- Ensures appropriate safety requirements are met at all times.

**What you will need to be successful**:

- **Residential, single family home construction experience in a leadership role**:

- Enjoy the challenge of steady fast pasted work on custom high-end projects and are looking for a long-term career.
- Solid understanding of residential construction, trades, and local construction techniques.
- Work well independently and on a team
- Experienced with good knowledge to interpret drawings, specifications, and other relevant project information.
- Are detail oriented, tidy, presentable & honest.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Have valid BC drivers license, reliable transportation.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable BC Building codes and workplace safety regulations
- 10 years of experience in Construction Industry (preferred)

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
