**Job Summary**:
A Server will provide the highest level of dining services to our residence and guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set and clean tables and the dining area according to type of event and service standards.
- Take orders, answer enquiries and communicate orders to kitchen.
- Serve food and beverage to our residents and guests.
- Know all the residents dietary requirements and preferences.
- Carry out general cleaning duties and routines, including setting and cleaning tables and serving counters.
- Provide an efficient service to our residents according to the company's standard.
- Practice and maintain established standards for cleanliness and sanitation required by the Health Department.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.
- Establishes and maintains an atmosphere conducive to pleasant dining by creating an environment which maintains the enjoyment, self-respect, dignity and physical safety of each resident.
- Promotes and maintains positive communication and relationships among staff, residents and their guests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- 2 years of fine dining floor experience
- Smart serve certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous working experience with seniors an asset

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items up to 50 pounds, moving about the restaurant, handling food objects, plates, trays, glasses etc, Considerable bending, stooping and kneeling is required.

**Working Condition**:

- Shift work, must be available weekends, weekday availability would be an asset
- Exposed to heat, humidity and food waste
