**Junior Research Technician, Plant Sciences**:
**Primary Purpose**: The Lentil and Faba Bean Breeding Program at the Crop Development Centre, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Saskatchewan requires Field Research Technicians who will work as part of a team to support research and development of improved lentil and faba bean varieties.

**Education**: Completion of Grade 12. A degree or diploma in agriculture or a related field of study would be an asset.

**Experience**: Experience in crop research and experience operating small plot equipment such as tractors and combines will be an asset.

**Department**: Plant Sciences
**Status**: Term 2 years with the possibility of extension
**Employment Group**: Research Positions - Non-union
**Shift**: 8:00 - 4:30; 38 hrs per week; hours may vary during peak periods
**Full Time Equivalent (FTE)**: 1.0
**Salary**: The salary range, based on 1.0 FTE, is $46,495.28 - 65,089.44 per annum. The starting salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
