Position Overview

The Airline Contract Analyst will analyze the airline bookings for each major Canadian airline and make recommendations to maximize airline revenue. The position will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Vendor Negotiations and work directly with the Canada Region Presidents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creates and analyzes financial models to maximize earnings through our preferred supplier programs
- Develop an expert understanding of contractual terms to verify accuracy of supplier results
- Support Management with creation of performance tracking tools
- Create, analyze and distribute supplier reporting utilizing both internal and external sources
- Analyze critical areas of revenue management opportunities
- Utilize a variety of company management information tools to establish robust checks on supplier revenue reports
- Reconcile supplier payments
- Monitor regional contributions to global agreements
- Acquire data and underlying assumptions to assist with internal allocation process
- Assist with supplier invoicing and cash collection
- Create ad hoc reports as requested
- Market share reports (bi-monthly)
- Manage airline portals for UA,DL,AA,QF,SQ,WS
- PCC updates for fare loads (advising airlines, check for pricing issues)
- Synergy reports for new acquisitions
- Quarterly branch detail reports
- Quarterly overrides report
- Distribute and/or post airline announcements and updates
- Prepare Supplier Relations presentations
- Work with airline reps for debit memos and other agent related issues
- Yearly airline status nominations
- Tracking contract renewals
- Booking client requests when DT certs/giveaways are used
- Booking and tracking fund usage for Exec’s requests
- Tracking airline sponsorship events/invoicing/payments

Qualifications:

- Experience in analytical role
- Must be an advanced Excel user and proficient in PowerPoint
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly numerate and possess strong analytical skills
- Able to make decisions independently
- Must be able to effectively organize ideas for logical presentation and acceptance
- Possess strong organizational skills and have ability to multi-task
- Confidentiality
- Travel industry experience in similar role with TMC or airline is desirable however not a necessity for this role
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
