Dental Receptionist

St. Albert Denture & Implant Clinic is looking to hire an experienced Receptionist part time and with the potential for full time in the near future. Our newly renovated clinic has been operating in St. Albert for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of digital technology with our clinic primarily producing dentures digitally for over 5 years.
**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using electronic medical records systems.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including handling payments and insurance pre-authorizations/ insurance claims.
- Treatment planning and coordination with various dental offices to ensure seamless coordination of patient's dental appointments.
- Ensuring patient recalls are up to date.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient care.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the office operations.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a medical or dental office is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with electronic billings/ insurance pre authorizations/claims is essential.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in Microsoft word and excel; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
